Albany Detective Pleads To DWI

•  National News     updated  2009/08/02 14:59

The Times Union reports an Albany police detective who crashed into two parked cars and nearly struck several others during an alcohol-fueled drive home last January abruptly pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.

Detective George McNally of Bethlehem apologized to assistant District Attorney Mary Tanner-Richter as he left the courtroom following the brief proceeding that will cost him his driver's license and require that any private vehicle he uses for the next year be equipped with an alcohol-sensor ignition switch.

For those in the Pittsburgh area who have been charged with a DWI, The Law Offices of Gerald B. McNamara can help. They specialize in clearing those charged with a DUI in Pittsburgh. Consult with them today to learn how they can assist you with your DUI case.
