A man accused of ramming his SUV into the front door of a Minnesota abortion clinic has been charged with two felony counts of criminal damage to property.
Matthew Lee Derosia (da-ROSE'-ee-ah) of Cottage Grove was charged Friday in connection with the crash one day earlier on the anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision.
The criminal complaint says the 32-year-old Derosia told police he planned to drive the SUV through the doors of a Planned Parenthood clinic in St. Paul because the Lord told him to do so.
Police say Derosia was found holding a crucifix, reciting Bible verses and shouting, "Close down the Auschwitz death camp!"
Derosia was in custody Friday and could not be reached for comment.
